REP IT is a Functional Fitness class that can be adapted for all levels. You will complete high-intensity intervals, olympic lifting, calisthenics, and much more. E
Each month will see a brand new REP IT workout, which will be completed during every clss that month. You will scored on your workout and aim to beat it each time it is repeated. This gives you many chances to improve, beat your score, your time, or lift more weight. Either way you will have no choice other to improve!
MAX IT is a conditioning-based total body workout based on the principles of MAX Interval Training. MAX Interval Training allows a person to beat the "stress adaptation response," which normally happens when your body gets used to exercising at one level of exertion. The result of this is halting your progress on your fitness improvement journey. By using varied MAX Interval Training, MAX IT pushes you to new training heights, resulting in more calories burned, faster results, and a more efficient metabolism. Think MAX IT sounds tough? It is! But don't worry all exercises can be modified to suit all needs.
Group training offers strength and conditioning in a small group environment meaning that it can not only be well supervised, but also tailored to suit the needs of the group. With only a few spaces available group training on Friday mornings is the ideal opportunity to improve your fitness using the huge range of kit we have available at Saxon Fitness.
In LIFT IT you are enouraged to try something new. It is a strength training class designed for everyone. With modifications, progressions and regressions for every exercise anybody can take part and make progress regardless of their strength levels or exoerience.
Can't to a press up? Then try negative only press ups! Press ups too easy? Go for handstand press ups!
This is a slow tempo class, with low impact and focus on technique before anything else, but once you have the technique you are free to load up the weights in a safe and supervised environment.
RIDE IT & ride it hard!
When the the music is turned up the intensity goes through the roof as you go through heavy hill climbs, sprints, and races delivering an intense conditioning workout. You will be kept motivated by the instructor, the people around you, and the music. Get prepared for the workout of your life!

Bootcamp is a high intensity metabolic conditioning workout, incorporating elements of strength training. You my work individually or as part of a team using kettlebells, dumbells, barbells, bodyweight exercises, power bags, battle ropes, heavy tyres and much more.
We pride ourselves on exciting, new and inventive classes therefore no 2 Bootcamps will ever be the same.
A short but intense core workout which can be modified to suit all abiilities. This is an abdominal workout with a focus on core strength and stability to improve your posture, training technique, and your body shape! Some classes will take a traditional group exercise format with all participants working together, wheras others will follow circuits or more unconventional formats all of which guaranteed to both test and develop your core strength!

This is not your average Kettlebell Class, SWING IT focuses on lifting heavy and working at a high tempo. This is the next step in Kettlebell training, using multiple Kettlebells, various weights and incorporating bodyweight exercises to burn fat and build muscle.
The easy-to-follow program that lets you move to the beat at your own speed. It's an invigorating, community-oriented dance-fitness class that feels fresh, and most of all, exhilarating! Zumba Gold® classes provide modified, low-impact moves for active older adults.
FRIDAY NIGHT THROWDOWN is a Crossfit inspired, functional training style session to see just how much work you can do in 30 minutes. You will be tested with Chippers, AMRAPs, EMOMs and teamed workouts, using bodyweight exercises, barbells, kettlebells and dumbbells.
This does not run as a taught class, instead an opportunity for you to come in and train in a Pre planned session.
For those of you wanting to get in and train at Saxon away from your usual classes or group sessions, Jez has opened up his workouts for you to come along and join in, all of which can be adapted for all abilities.

GROUP EXERCISE PROGRAMMES
Primal Conditioning is not a class, it is a programme, a training system, and it gets results. Primal Conditioning runs every few months as an 8 week block of Sunday morning sessions designed to take you out of your comfort zone and push you to the max.
It keeps things basic, lift heavy, move quickly, incorporating all primal movements, squat, lunge, push, pull, twist, bend, jump, run & crawl in a tough environment. Some sessions take place at the studio, others will take you out to various environments for hill sprints, runs through woodland and fields and much more!
As part of Primal Conditioning you will take part in a team competition, completing weekly tasks, challenges and fitness competitions to determine which team will be crowed winners!
Strong is Strength Training for women...done properly!
SHRED is the High Intensity conditioning training that works perfectly to complement it.

STRONG runs for 6 weeks and as part of the programme you will follow a weight training plan to enhance physique, burn fat and build strength.
Strong is done in a small group environment to ensure technique is correct and each member gets full coaching, therefore spaces are limited.
The Athlete Project is our training programme for our Functional Fitness/ Crossfit Athletes at Saxon Fitness.
As Part of this we have taken on 10 Athletes to participate in and represent Saxon Fitness at Functional Fitness competitions. Our athletes receive full personalised nutritional and training programmes as well as 2 group sessions per week.
